This project was to create a concept and design scheme for a bar in Galicia, Spain. The client was open to new ideas but wanted to include a deep red colour that had already been used in the recently updated terrace. I opted for a modern retro design with inspiration from 50s Miami. pairing dusty colours with the red helped to allow the red to pop while maintaining an element of softness. This was carried through into the furnishings, with soft shapes and velvet textures.
